hello everyone hope you all can help.[SPOILER]
I have a 2000 Jaguar S Type 4.0 V8 that has an issue ever since I went out and started the car after letting it sit for a few days the dash lights and warning lights come on and off the headlights will stay on just depending on how many times I turn the key before I start it sometimes I can turn the key on and everything will be completely fine and everything works if I turn the key off then turn the car back on sometimes the car won't start the red light on the dash flashes headlights will stay on traction control will disable oil light battery light all stay on fuel gauge drops down to empty turn the key back off then on again light will stop flashing on the dash car will start no warning lights are on everything seems to be working. When I bought the car it had an old battery in it I have recently put a brand new AGM battery in it reset the computers cleared all codes with scan tool symptoms went away for about 20 minutes turn the car off about two hours later symptoms all came back I have no clue what is going on and yes there was a lot of water in the trunk when I change the battery if anybody can help with this I would be greatly appreciated I am a technician so I have access to variety of tools to help but I can't seem to figure this one out

Welcome to the forum Tyler2000,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I suggest a re-post in S-Type forum including the codes you found.
Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ed-v8-x200-15/ to the S-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the US Western Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-western-38/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham
