Default 2000 Jaguarxj8 is dead but clock works

My car set up for about a week while I was waiting on a part. During that week I went out to start it and it wouldn't turn over. The dash readings said electrical fault, gearbox fault and low brake fluid. Then after 4 more days, I went to try and start it, it was completely dead (absolutely no noise), and no dash readings nothing works. but I noticed the clock was working. Is this just a dead battery or an electrical problem.

Hello,
I would be suspicious of a dead battery if that happened to me. It takes almost nothing to run a clock.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome.

Elinor has nailed it.

Batteries are critical in thesse juice hungry cars.

Welcome to the forum Miss Charlee,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Very high odds on it being a discharged battery.
