2000 XJ8 need a little help please.
Hello, I recently purchased a 2000 White / Leather Cream interior XJ8 with 64k for my wife...OMG....One beautiful vehicle. Long story short. She blew a top radiator hose on the interstate and had the smarts enough to pull over and shut the car down immediately. I had personally loaded it on a flat bed and its in my common sense mechanics hands. He has replaced one tensioner and is obviously going to replace the other when he called me and said that #4 cylinder has zero compression, however when he pressurizes it with 130 psi it holds...HELP.....please

Welcome to the forums hminzeberg. As said above, don't panic, sit tight, and post your questions on the X308 section. There'll be others who will have some good advice for you. For me, I can't reconcile someone saying zero compression on one hand, and then it's OK when "pressurized". Huh? Just think, if it ran OK before the hose blowout, it will most likely still run OK afterwards too if your better half had the common sense to shut it down immediately.

Welcome to the forum hminzeberg,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
Shutting it down straightaway should have prevented anything serious happening and the fact that No4 will hold pressure is looking good.
Follow Norri's link to the X308 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
Enjoy the forums.
