Hi everyone! It seems us S-Type owners all need to stick together because we love our cars but every time we sneeze, the 'check engine' light comes on or something. I've also noticed that, here in Los Angeles, very few mechanics specialize in Jaguar repairs. If they do, they are so backed up that patience is a virtue and their hourly labor rate is sometimes off the charts. I don't work on cars so I often just buy the parts, cross my fingers and take them to a local mechanic (big jobs go to the Jag guys, though.) The S-Type seems to have so many different sensors and fragile bits that I'm hoping to get some input on minor issues with your expertise. Thank you!

Hi,
Had three S Type 4.0 before present one and had few issues with them but if engine and transmission is OK all other probs are one to cope with I think.
It seems that when this Kitty comes to age problems with bearings, bushes etc comes to end with a rush so when those are solved it wil again purrr like new. Usually people get rid of these when these wear issues comes to face. Loved my previous 4.0 but need for speed was the thing to sell and have this one.
