Default 2003 S Type Won't Start!!!

Hi all-
Brand new here, so hope ANYONE can assist!
SO, I wake up yesterday, get into my 2003 S Type V8 and when I put the key in and turn it over, all I hear is: "Click click click click."
I turn the key back, then all the sudden the horn starts going off.
The brake pedal is depressed, so I am thinking it is in some kind of a security mode.
Does anyone have any thoughts, ideas, suggestions.
BTW, the battery seems charged. All the elctronics work (radio, lights, windows, etc.).
HELP!!!!!!!
Thanks you,
Ryan

Welcome to the forum Ryan,

I've copied your tech question over to the S-Type section to get the resident experts onto it. Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...t-start-84575/ to it in the S-Type section for help, advice and information.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Western Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/western-us-ak-ca-nv-ut-hi-wa-id-38/ to find other members in your region.

Hope it's an easy fix.

Enjoy the forum.

Welcome Ryan!,... Mmmm 'Click click click' you say? if it was me i will try to Jump Start the car to see if it will work or not. The battery may seems charged to lights, horn, windows, and so on. But if the battery have's a Bad Cell, (I'm sure thats what it is) it's not going to start your jag! So when you Jump Start the jag AND IT WORKS (DON'T TURN OFF THE CAR!!) until you go get yourself a New Battery. Good Luck
