Welcome to the forum Tanios,

The XJ8 is no mean performer but you must be finding the 'R' is in a different league.

Enjoy it.

tanios,

First thing to remember is you need 10 posts and 3 days forum membership before you can post photos or download attachments.

You can add vehicle details to your signature from User CP on the main menu.

Best place to start learning how to use the forum is from FAQ on the main menu.

The Garage (also on the main menu) is where you can post photos of your vehicles.

To find the section for your 2004, scroll down the forum main page to Jaguar Models and then down to XK (X350 & X358) XJ6 / XJ8 / XJR 2003 - 2009 where you can read threads, post and starrt new threads.

I just bought the same car! I hope the test drive put a smile on your face the way it did me, the adaptive cruise is awesome, it will even apply the brakes if needed, I am counting on that to help my highway milage. I hope you love yours as much as I do.

Welcome to the forum man!

I am pleased that you, too have had an N/A X308

By the way, a lot of dealers market an '04 XJR as an
XJR-S, the XJR-S is a misnomer for X350 cars. I see
it all the time, but it's wrong for your car. It's actually
.

a 6.0 Litre V12 coupe!

Welcome to Jaguar Forums and I hope you have been having fun
in your new Jag!

Dealers make that mistake because I believe Kelly Blue Book misidentifies the car, I was shopping for a 2004-2006 XJR and almost all the dealers had them listed the same. I don't see it as a bad thing, the years that include the "s" have the big brembo brakes, not sure why Jag ditched that later.
