2006 jag issues
I have a 06 jaguar xtype 3.0 that has started giving me a problem i cant solve. It started when it was driven on a heavy rain day flooding in some parts. my wife said when she got close to work it started jerking and not running well. so that evening i went and got it and it did not want to go. after i would get started i would have to let off the gas and it would act like it was shifting gears. Started running real rough no power and misfireing. had 12 codes pop up mostly misfires with a p1637 p0456 were the odd ones. I drained tranny and put new fluid in cleaned all coils and plugs. even took transmission control module out and made sure it was dry and it was. now it just acts like it has no get up and go and smells of gas bad. Any ideas please let me know. Thanks

Hello,
It can be maddening when you find codes and nothing you do makes them go away. However, someone in our X-type section can doubtless help you with that, but maybe not until the sun comes up where they live. But shortly, someone will be along to direct you there so you can post your question(s).
