Hi everybody,
Let me introduce myself. I am from Belgium (french speaking). I have a S-Type 2.7D 2007 (model 2008). Very happy with it, except that she drinks a bit too much. I don't know if there is something to do about it. 13/14L/100Km in town, and never less than 10 L on average. One of my friend, with his 250 HP Audi, is close to half of this.
I have always been a Jaguar fan since my young age. I was driving a MKVII on the road, at the age of 9 , during the night and early in the morning, when my parents were still asleep ! Afterwards, when I was 20, I have had two XK150 (one convertible and the other one as a coupe). Meanwhile, I drove MKII, MK8 and MK9, but none of these were mine. After that, I owned a XJ 5.3 C V12 Injection. I still have it but I don't know where it is right now, because the garage where it was doesn't exist anymore and I have to look for it.
I look forward to read you all

Nice choice of Jaguar Roland, large cars especially automatics don`t give their best mpg on short journeys and the 2.7d is no exception.
It is made slightly worse that they do take that much longer to warm up, but take consolment in the fact it is always going to be better than petrol.![Icon Wink](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
