2008 XJ8 L Steering Wheel - Question
Hello, I'm new to this forum but have owned several older Jags in the past. I have a question about the 2008 XJ8 L, specifically the steering wheels which were standard, and which were optional. The '08 XJ8 L I'm looking at has only a leather steering wheel. The car has the optional Elm Wood Trim throughout. Question: Why isn't the steering wheel wood and leather which is supposed to be standard?

No, leather was standard. Wood was a necessity when a buyer chose a heated steering wheel. In my opinion, the leather one, i.e. the one from XJR, looks the best and fits great in the hands, it is slightly differently profiled and thicker, unfortunately there was no heated version, but I'm working on it.
