2010 / 2011 XKR Buyer Advice

Gents/Ladies,
In the market for a rag-top 2010/2011 XKR. Not my first rodeo with Jag (ex-wife took the '03 XKR in the divorce - lol).
Im looking at low mile (less than 20K) vehicle preferably black/black. What I'd like to understand is any 'gotcha' events on these new jags ... when can I expect to do the brakes (cost), rubber, any special little items that are annoying (and expensive) to repair.
I recall my last XKR enjoyed blowing the hydraulic line right above the center light and dripping green oil all over the console - lovely! :-)
Thanks in advance - oh, I'm Dallas based in case you missed it.

Welcome to the forum Lordnelson70,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I'm sorry to tell you that you're probably going to find the newer 2010/11 XKR much more reliable than the earlier 2003 model!
Follow this link XK / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XK/XKR forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
You can also visit the US Southwest Region forum by following this link Southwest US - AZ TX NM OK - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
