2010 Jaguar XKR - White
Hi Team!
Great to join these forums. I've finally managed to unlock a milestone for myself and own an XKR. I've loved these cars and the F-Types for a long time and managed to pull the trigger after 'accidentally' winning an auction sight unseen. Overall the XKR is in decent condition but there are plenty of things that I would like fixed up to get it to my standard.
It is a white with black leather interior, my preferred being the charcoal grey but the white pops nicely. The P/O blacked out a lot of things including the badges which I'm not a fan of, so will sort out those once I have the regular maintenance up to date.
Some things I've already done is getting a spare key, new battery, a few misc trim bits, changed the P/S fluid. I have new Motul LS diff fluid on the way and am booked in with Jag to do the oil, brake and coolant fluid. Currently I'm chasing a bit of a missfire/rough idle which is in another thread.
I'm based in Auckland, NZ. My father also is a Jag lover and has a 2018 F-Type S. He found the 5.0 a bit too skiddy when he had an XFR, hence the 3.0 in the F-Type.
Have already been learning a lot about this car and can't wait to learn more through the forums.

Welcome to the forums Levi,
That's a brave way to buy a Jaguar.
I can see you've already found your way to the XK/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the New Zealand Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/new-zealand-97/ to find other members in your region.
Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.
Enjoy the forums.
