2010 XFR from The Hague

Hi All,
It's been a while since I bought my XFR and signed on to the Jaguar Forums. I enjoyed many posts and found quite a few interesting ideas here.
Jaguar, to me, was a brand of car that I had on my 'shortlist-of-someday-cars'. Specifically the E-Type and XJ220. Finally two years ago I found this beautiful XFR in near mint condition, only one previous owner and practically no miles on it. Good price too!
Looking for my next car, I made a shortlist which had the C63 AMG, BMW M5 and the XFR. While the other two are great cars, the XFR stands out because it has similar performance but in a much more sophisticated package. It's not loud and "out there". It doesn't scream at you, if you know what I mean. You don't feel the need to push it all the time every time.
Funny story, the dealership asked if I had car to trade-in. I said yes and showed him my Honda Civic Hybrid. Well that's a first he said, nowadays most people are getting into hybrids! Also, you're going from a 120 HP car to 510 HP.
This car is without a doubt the most luxurious, fastest I've ever driven. The powerband is awesome and just keeps on pushing until you hit the limiter at 275 (dashboard)km/h. Living in The Netherlands, I can take the car to Germany and push it to the limit... legally.
I've seen a couple of people changing their badges to the new red badges. I'm taking a different route and go green. The older growler logo from a supercharged XK in green. Also, green center caps on the wheels which look really nice with the R logo on the brake callipers.
Looking forward to meeting other Jaguar enthusiasts in the area.

Welcome to the forum Cobalt,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. Great location for the XFR photo and the green badge is a nice touch.
I think you'll already know your way to the X250 tech section so there's no need for a link.
You can also visit the Europe Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/europe-42/ to find other members in mainland Europe.
Enjoy the forums.
