Default 2011 Jaguar nightmare:-(

Have a scary question to ask...my 2011 jaguar smelled like it was burning oil...needed an oil change...while I was driving home on the highway around 80 mph.. the engine started idling funny ..white smoke started coming out so I slowed down and the engine shut off...got out and oil was pouring out the bottom...sounds bad or BAD BAD?..😂😂😢😥😥😥

Welcome to the forum Tony,

Definitely BAD. The question now is HOW BAD and this depends on the model.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Hello, Tony,
I'm sorry about your car. I wonder if the oil change place put the drain plug back correctly. If they didn't, that would certainly explain your situation.
If it was my car, first thing I would do is have a chat with them.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
