I had also noticed there is one error code when i connected OBD scanner and did scan for error codes in the phone. below is the error code,
it is 2011 XF model it says Jaguar XF Base , I guess it is the basic model with less bells and whistles

Welcome to the forum Chandoo,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I would suspect the scantool compatability for a start as you should always see either P1000 or P1111 monitoring status codes with a Jaguar.
Regarding the recall, contact your nearest Jaguar Dealer to ask if it applies to your VIN and whether the remedial work has already been completed.
Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xf-xfr-x250-44/ to the X250 forum for help, advice and information.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
I can see you've already found the US Northeast Region forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
Enjoy the forums.
