Default 2011 XF SC Reporting In

My last two vehicles were BMWs and my 2009 535i (X-drive) was fantastic; I loved that car. It was a lease (dumb move by me) and I nearly bought it. However, BMW did pretty much everything they could to convince me to not purchase one of their vehicles...so I didn't.

I drove just about everything before stumbling on a new 2011 XF Supercharged (black) with every option installed. The ride is different than what I'm used to in the BMW but the power just blew me away. Going from 300hp to 470hp is...impressive.

Even with 20% off the MSRP (I know!) I waivered. The dealer had two and when they sold one of them (and called to let me know) I knew then that I'd hate myself if I let the other one get away. So now I own my first Jag!

This site was helpful in my research and knowing that I'll have lots of questions, I decided to register. This is my first RWD car -- and I live in Utah -- so I'm not accustomed to having to buy (and change) snow tires. Advice like that from others has been invaluable.

Anyways, apologies for the long introduction.

Here in Utah you can't get a BMW without X-Drive (AWD). Prior to that I owned FWD vehicles. So yea, this is my first RWD and with a ton of power. I'm scared!

Welcome to the forums! A powerful RWD car can be a bit of a challenge in the winter, but as you probably know, good winter tires will keep you out of trouble
