Default 2011 XJ Supercharged Supersport wash level fault

Any advise on how to clear a fault on my windscreen wash bottle. Plenty of fuild in there but permanent alarm. Thanks

The fault is likely to be the fluid level sensor in the side of the washer reservoir:

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Many thanks for this Graham and all the welcome messages from other board members.

I had a look and when I saw that that the washer bottle itslf was quite hidden, I decided to have a look inside the bottle with a little ebay endoscope plugged into my mobile phone. I couldn't see too much to be honest but I think I must have disturbed the fload switch in some way . as the alarm has now cleared!!!
