Default restoration

I have recently bought a Mk2 3.4 in need of restoration
grey with red leather interior.
Its only just arrived and I need to get the engine and box running and checked before going further - where would I get hold of a workshop manual and wheres the best place for parts new and used.
I was told that there was fuel leaking from the carbs so I'm going to strip and clean and service these first - could do with real gaskets before making them - where do we get these.
I will probably be a complete pest as I encounter snags with the refurb. I'm sure that you will see many threads developing from me as we go on this journey.
Thank you all in anticipation.

Dave,

Good to hear its arrived. You should start a thread in MKI / MKII S type 240 340 & Daimler - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum forum detailing the project.

I've merged your latest post with your original Intro thread to avoid confusion.
