98 xj8 engine swap compatabilty in a 99 xj8
new member and i bought a 99xj8 with bad engine 3 years ago looking to getting started on this project finally!! came accross this forum very good tech info. thank you! im trying to see if a 98 aj26 xj8 4.0 will bolt in to 99 xj8 4.0 w/ aj27 engine/ i kept all parts off 99 engine tossed block and heads. thanks for your knowledge>

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
