Accelerating
Hello all,
I finally found a place where people are as crazy about jags as I am.
Anyway, I want to ask a question:
I have a 2000 s-type and I am having trouble "Accelerating" when I hit the gas hard likeI like the car gets to around 40 good then starts to jerk to 65 then is fairly smooth through 90 . looking through this forum I have found lots of different talk around coils...can anyone give me some feed back on what is making my baby work so hard to rip the road?
Thanks in advance.

RE: Accelerating
Ken,
This is interesting, I just got word from my mechanic that the "Idle Control Valve" has a ghost code...you know shows up sometimes and does not others....I am getting it changed on friday...cross your fingers.
The engine light is on...I have been told that Jag's have sensitive computers and will engine light for small things like gas cap on wrong...is that BS?
