This is for those of you who cant tell from my style of writing

I am somewhat young, handsome, fit, debonair and modest.
My 510hp Black XKR with caramel interior and Kalimnos wheels is reflective of understated tastes.

I am from London, oft confused for a boarding school brat but really am a man of the people having spent some holidays in counsel flats. I am an expat now living in the states, have a company that makes something as good as a Jaguar.

Life long lover of Jaguars and British engineering. I would be happy to share what I know and help you with your appreciation of the Jaguar Heritage.

Not into blokes, birds are encouraged to flag me down.

Oh one other thing, not really into those animated thingies that look like Mr. Men.

Your second line makes me doubt your first line.
Both those lines give your third line a Highly unlikely positive outcome.

Welcome to the forum Queen and Country,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the XK/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Your Location clearly isn't Hastings in East Sussex. Is it the one in Nebraska, Michigan or Minnesota?

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Must you destroy all my illusions.

Nice to have made your acquaintance, fellow competitor.

Incidentally, this ' intro thingy' is the most ignominious thing that I have seen. Forcing unneutered male Cats to say hello to each other. Its as dangerous as a tree full of owls. Understandable that you would say there are no birds to be had.

Greetings Graham,
Pardon the perceived elusiveness. Then again we are solitary creatures who make it a point to be differ from the crowd.
Yes East Sussex mate, bit of a story, its most accurate and easiest this way. While I am in the States at present, It would be a gross misrepresentation to give the impression I was remotely from here. Cant you tell.

So it's none of the 'Hastings' in the US. I see from your IP Address you're probably in TN.

The reason we ask members to post 'Location' is because Jaguar specifications differ across the World markets and it helps to get relevant answers in technical posts.

Not from the States? You don't want to know what I imagined from your forum username and location.

+1 on having a current location for the vehicle and adding pertinent vehicle details to the user signature so there is no need to keep asking for MY and engine size/type.

Whad you think, queen of country, as in Elton John. Its what I meant about giving confusing signals. You can probably tell what I had for supper. I travel a bit.

I've got the solution.

Yeah, raised in London and sent off to the seaside to forget it all. Dint quite work out. Only the bad bits of both rubbed off on me.

What does Busa mean?

Tell you where the Q&C comes from. The misses asked 'why are we not buying one of those Gerry SUVs' I said for Queen and Country love. Shoulda said cause women dont fancy them.

Bet they don't know what the hell you're saying over there? At least you escaped small town England. Well done !! Always like to see people doing well.

Busa is abbreviated from Hayabusa aka Suzuki Hayabusa GSX1300R.
200mph superbike straight out of the crate. I'm a lifetime biker but anything fast with petrol is good.

I live about 1/2 hour from Silverstone.
We still get down to the Ace cafe now and then. That's my limit with London.

Thank you, but we're not competitors as we're not in the same territory, merely colleagues.
Incidentally, this ' intro thingy' is the most ignominious thing that I have seen. Forcing unneutered male Cats to say hello to each other. Its as dangerous as a tree full of owls. Understandable that you would say there are no birds to be had.
Several/many entire (unneutered) male cats can and do get along in even a small territory, they merely have to accept who's boss. In our case, it's Graham, the Undisputed Top Cat (second only to Jim).

I cant believe I guessed it right the first time. Have you seen this?
. In city traffic driving I think it makes more sense than a Ferrari.

Dont know mate if I did the right thing, feels like I gave up civilization and culture for superficiality.
