Aloha....
Aloha...My name is Vick and I am retired and living in Hawaii. In a prior life time (when I was a kid) I was a certified Jaguar mechanic and had worked in two Jag dealerships for over 12 years (1981-93). I used to own a 1992 XJS, 1984 XJ6 SIII, and a 1968 E-Type coupe Series 1 1/2 when I lived on the mainland (Los Angeles). Before I moved to Hawaii I sold the XJS and the E-Type (really no place in the islands to really open them up for a good run). The XJ6 was given to my sister-in-law who lives in Texas. Before she got it, I had the engine and trans rebuilt, replaced the wiring harness under the hood, all the injectors were replaced, replaced the rubber bits on the suspension front and rear, all new leathers and carpeting for the interior. To make a long story short, I'll be getting the XJ6 back. But before I ship it all the way to the islands I need a good qualified Jag Tech that knows these older Jags inside and out to repair the AC and give it a once over before shipping. A shop in the Dallas/Fort Worth area would be perfect. Anyone out there know of some good reputable Jag Techs in this area? Thanx :-)
