Default Andrew - New to site

Hi All,

Im\'m new to this site. Just figuring it out. I've got a 1989 XJS Convertible. Found this site while researching som problems with the car.

I've got a problem with it running too rich such that it wont pass smog testing. Runs ok just too rich. Need to know how to adjust this.

I also have a problem with the rear quater windows. Right now I have no power to the rear window realys, and cannot find the fuses for these. None of the fuse boxes have labels for these windows and the owners manual does not have any information for the fuse locations.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Andrew Janoski

Welcome Andrew. Here is a link to some electrical diagrams to get you started. Sorry I don't have direct experience with your model (yet).

Thanks Much!... Couldn't find the fuses 'cause there are none... Thermal relays instead... Electrical diagrams are just what I needed...

Hello Andrew and welcome to jaguarforums.com.

If you haven’t already you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for. To do this go to, User CP, Edit Signature, Add Vehicle Details and such and Save Your Signature.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

Also, should you have questions related to your vehicle please post it in the section for your model year (MY) car. This way you will reach all the members that are familiar with your MY car.
