Another intro
Nick Guy here. Expat Brit living in the US outside of Seattle. Cut my teeth in the UK on Minis, owning everything from a 1959 Austin 7 to a 67 Cooper S. Then got into Lancia Betas after moving to the States then branched out into Mercedes, Alfas, and Jeeps.
Have always loved Jags of course but never owned one. Now I have 2. At some point I may swap out the E320 for a mid 90's Jag hence the 4.0 liter. Work in Seattle and Yakima WA. Fly fishing offroading, IOT and geek stuff. Thanks for having me on the board.
Current cars..
1990 Mercedes 300 SL. ( summer cruiser in great shape)
1995 Mercedes E320. (basically my daily driver)
1991 Alfa 164S (party car)
1990 Jeep Cherokee. ( 6" lift, Exo Cage, Lockers, Dana 44 rear axle blah blah for overlanding and occasional SAR duty)
1962 Mercedes 220S. ( my current resto project)
1965 Mercedes 220SE ( parts car for above)
1971 XJ6 ( this car being rescued from someone who was going to put a chevy engine in it. My next resto project)
1997 XJ6 ( I plan to get to know this car by driving it a bit as a backup for the E320)

Welcome to the forum Nick,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I know you've already found your way to the X300 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please add vehicle details permanently to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the US Northwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-northwest-64/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham
