Angry Another leather dash problem

Just checked in to this site to see if others have had a problem with leather shrinkage. Mine happened rather quickly. The leather pulled away from the windshield on the left next to centre piece. It appears to have shrunk as well.
Disheartened to hear that this issue is being largely ignored by Jaguar. I havent taken mine in yet but will let you know. I would be happy to join a group to have this issue resolved as It appears I won't fare much better. Have an 07 XK coupe with low mileage in a gorgeous red. No other issues. Also have an 01 XK convertable that has been great, noisy strut developing though. Wife will probably insist on getting rid of one.

Default Same problem

Happened in one day, leather pulled away from center speaker on both sides. Very, very disheartening. $4000 repair and your car will never be the same if the dash is pulled out. I almost cried when I saw the pull-away that day and no fix and completely ignored by Jaguar. Ironically almost all threads indicate it happens at 55k miles, out of warranty.

50400 miles dash bubbled Jaguar said they wont fix it after numerous calls and to top it off I had brought the car in at 48000 for them to check it over

Default same

Mine came up in one day. Just bam, two large bubble on each side of the center speaker. You can obviously see the design flaw in that the leading edge used to anchor the leather near the windshield is woefully inadequate in size to mitigate any shrinkage. Keep me posted on any class action lawsuits against Jag for this obvious design flaw. Sad too because that dash is one of the most beautiful in automotive world.
