Default Another new member!

Hi, I'm just another new member. I am nothing more than a certified Jaguar technician, though I do dabble a bit in Land Rovers and some of the other high end cars. About me.... 25 years old, live alone, and eat out a lot. Other than that, if I am not wrenching on a customer's car. I am fixing my own- a 2002 S-10 ZR2 and a 1984 Pontiac Fiero, wonderful little car that is... anyways, just saying hi!

Oh yeah, the new XF stopped by yesterday.

Welcome Spanner...

Would you do me a favor?..Check to see if Royal Purple MaxATF Multi-spec is compatible with the JATCO fluid that's in the 2002 to 2004 X type auto...I've been told by Royal Purple and several other JAG specialists, that it meets's the Ford specs on the Idemitsu, K17 - Jatco 3100 PL085 fluid..Just wanted to hear it one more time from you.

Welcome and thanks for the pic of the XF. Also, I used to love Fiero's...especially the model with the thick bumpers and the big spoiler (the gold ones were hot)!!

Thanks for the replies, and Dennis, sent you a pm. Short story- fluids aren't compatible with each other.

Good to have you onboard Spanner!

Nothing wrong with that at all, i'm the same, just about 10yrs older than you. Enjoy it!

As for the new XF on the showroom floor, which wheels did it have on it? i like the Selena wheels, and definately dislike the Volaris type. What's your fav? Choices are...

18-inch Cygnus

19-inch Auriga

20-inch Volaris

and super sexy 20-inch Selena (look at the large version here, the center spoke on each 5 is chromed, or it seems that way)

The RANGE Volaris style looks to be the easiest to clean.

Been really busy lately and had to run to St. Louis yesterday. But, posting a "thank you" to everyone! My favorite wheels happen to be the Auriga's (I'm not a big wheel person, though) Fortunately, this XF had them fitted.
