Default Apology First, New Girl S- Type

I first want to apologize to our site admin for not stopping by here first before I posted under S-Type.

Please forgive me for not introducing myself to this forum.

I will admit that I joined as it is with sweet sorrow that I was looking for TRUE Jag lovers to offer my beloved S-Type for sale to.

I figured this would be the right audience so although new and maybe not around for too long I do love my Jag.

The thought of her ending up with just anyone, not taking care of me is unacceptable.

I will scan though the S-Type postings but I can honestly say I have not had a single issue with this car and can't offer much repair advice.

Thanks for your time and attention to my post.

Hello, Shirl,
Life just happens sometimes, doesn't it. I'm sorry you have to sell your Jag, but sometimes we just gotta do what we gotta do. I wish you success.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Thanks Elinor! You know, when I was super young, 20's serving in the US Navy as enlisted my dream was to always own a Jaguar.

Well I do, she is a gem and I battle each day over letting her go.
Sigh...four cars 2 drivers who both work from home.

I have to let her go to someone who will drive her, OR, I build a bigger garage as I will not tolerate her not being undercover.

Your car looks awesome, what year?

Shirl,
Thank you for the comment.
My car is 1976, Series II. We all think our own Jaguars are the prettiest cars on the road, but I KNOW mine is! LOL

I agree, if a car is important to a person, for the "investment" if nothing else, then it should be kept under cover, preferably garaged. The older they get the less tolerant of the sun and weather they are. Leather is especially unforgiving.

Welcome to the forum Shirl,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the S-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. You'll find a reply from me there with a link to our

Welcome.

Good luck, either with the sale or the bigger shed. I know what I would do.
