Here is my official introduction!
Sorry if I started off on the wrong foot. I am a "mature" individual who has made a living out of pursuing my varied interests. I have been a Mechanic, Sous Chef, Auto Body Collision Repair Specialist, EMT, Preacher, Mortgage Broker, White Water Rafting and Rock Climbing Guide and a Truck Driver.
One of the passions that has kept my interest over the years has been interesting cars, trucks and motorcycles.
I am on several forums to increase my knowledge and interest in the cars in my garage and those of my family and friends.
I am currently driving a matched set of his and hers euros. A Plymouth Blue / Tan 1995 Range Rover County LWB and an Orient Blau / Tan 1994 BMW 525iT.
I am currently living in a small town in Central Oregon where the predominant vehicle of choice is an F-350 Powerstroke with 4" straight exhaust so my fascination with Euro cars is considered "ODD".
Imagine my surprise when I ran across a 1987 XJSC Jaguar V12 parked outside of a warehouse in town.
It is a convertible with a hard top, t-top, plus a soft top. It was made 8/1986. The Vin # is SAJNV3847HC134533 The Original paint was Gold (AFV). The trim option on the car was originally AFR.
I created a profile on this forum to see what I could learn about this car to see if it might be worth saving. Unfortunately I seem to have posted in the wrong section and was informed that I had skipped a step by not introducing myself.
So, Now what? Where do I post to learn something about this rare piece of automobile history?

Hey there SBG & welcome aboard, good to have you here with us here at JF
Thanks for the intro, nice one full of info.
You were probably "advised" to make an intro I guess? Its a way of letting the forum members welcome you, making you feel, hopefully, more at home / ease.
Usually its a good time where we can offer a little advice and or provide helpful links to make your experience the best it can be.
Now get yourself into the XJS section and check out the info available, make your thread with an yquestions there for the best possible answers.
Good luck
