Default Back in the Saddle

Hi all, and thanks for the birthday message...

as you may recall, I totaled the 2012 XJ on April 9th. My wife's broken femur is mending nicely...she should be back to about 80% in 6 months' time, according to the doctors. We delayed a much anticipated trip out West, but hope to go in the spring.

In the meantime, I found another (replacement) XJ in July, right down the street. Who knew. It seems we were made for each other. Also, my wife got rid of her tin can of a car and bought a Hummer, in Illinois! I drove it back to Florida for her...I know, I know...what a guy. It was the least I could do after breaking her leg. Hope all is well with everyone and look forward to spending time on the Forum.......

Welcome back Chris,

Good to hear the vehicle situation is resolved and the marital reparations are going well.

Driving the Hummer back was just the start - you'll still be making amends long after the femur is fine!

Graham

Welcome back.

A Hummer, well done.

I thought another Jag for her would have been better.

When I saw "back in the saddle" I was expecting something else. Good to hear your wife is on the mend. Will she ride in the car with you now?
