Wink Bought a 2007 XK Convertible

Just bought a gently used 2007 XK- my first Jag with 56K miles. California driven car, single owner (lady) and garaged.

Some mag wheel curb marks (which I am fixing next week as a DIY). Paint quality is still stunning.

- Fixed some valve seals that were causing a small oil leak.
- Upgraded maps to 2014.
- Turned on Sirius.
- Replacing shift knob with an aluminum (Jag of Coventry) one.
- Bought a genuine OEM wind deflector from craigslist and installed it
- Getting TheJagWrangler X150 remote control top. Can't wait to experience the reduction in sound (otherwise I would have just bought the 911 cabrio- ugh!) with the rear windows raised with the top down + the wind deflector in position
- Installed Union Jack valve stems
- Installed Jaguar headrest decals. Brings the black interior to life
- Debating on getting ACM

Will not touch the exterior. The XK convertible is Callum's first design after the DB9 and I like it that way.

She's lovely! Not an XKR. But the way I drive, I am not going to care 99.9% of the time. The exhaust note is intoxicating but not hard edged.

Welcome I Bought my 07 xk this spring in phoenix bought new in LA a few more miles than yours, just love driving her, very solid and surprisingly quiet with the top up.I removed the resonator on the exhaust and it gives a little more tone but still very quiet on the hi way. Glad to hear you updated your maps on a recent trip to kentucky I found out how bad I need to do that, Have fun here there is lots of advice so speak up if you need help with anything.
