Default Bulge Cone vs Cap Lugs nuts

Does it make a difference whether to use the OEM Cap with washer style lug nuts versus the bulge cone style? I had to cut off the OEM style and want to go to a solid one. The only ones I can find are the Bulge Cone. Will those work or should I find a solid OEM style one?
