Call me crazy
Background, have 06 blk on blk xjr I love, hate the sipango rims but they are beautiful - glad I have a good tire place - so in a crazy moment, I bought 94 xjs convert with 60k miles on it with the wire rims - first day leaves me on the side of the road, stalked - will restart but dies, so called the tow company, there is a weird light on above the speedo that frankly looks like a condom with a x on it to the left - what does that mean? Is there a correlation? I also here a metal sound when I hit a bump or something, like the exhaust or a strut in the front - net is the adventure has started based on the great experience I have had with my xjr - greatest car I have ever owned, a more practical carrera in my opinion - any help appreciated

norri meant to suggest the XJS section, the XJ40 area, (xjs have several sub-forums, due to their vast differences) you should repeat your question over there, as you'll get member welcomes from owners with varying model ownership.
Enjoy your stay, make some 'friends' who enjoy their XJs as much you apparently do...and they're all equally crazy (ok, maybe not AS much as you. lol)

Engine not running is a separate problem. Which engine? 6 or 12? Got gas?
