Default Camshaft sensor bank 2

My 2012 jaguar xf has a code of p0020. Autozone printout says camshaft position sensor bank 2. I replaced it but the.check engine light is still on. Any suggestions

Welcome to the Forums.

The XF (X250) Members will know.

It will be better if you state the engine in the beast, it makes a difference.

Sometimes a battery disconnect for 10 minutes resets codes, maybe all it needs.

Good luck.

The engine is a 5.0 . Also when I google the code it says nothing about bank 2, but instead it says a camshaft position actuator. So how do I know the difference

Welcome to the forums Charles,

Generic DTC lookups are often inaccurate, incomplete or misleading. The Jaguar Workshop Manual shows:

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xf-xfr-x250-44/ to the X250 forum for help, advice and information. You can also use the US Lower Atlantic forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...r-atlantic-66/ to find other members in your region.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
