Default The Car I've Always Wanted

Hello all,

As long as I can recall I've always wanted a Jag, and yesterday afternoon in the suburbs of Chicago that dream came true. Spent the rest of the day driving her back to Missouri, and although I'm not usually a fan of road trips which last over say four hours, it was the best driving experience of my life. I am entirely in love...

Default Congratulations!

Congrats on your car! I myself wanted a Jag for as long as I can remember, and in May this year, my hubby gave me one for our 30th anniversary. I was stunned speechless and in disbelief that I actually owned one! Welcome, and I hope you love yours as much as I do mine!

I've got a few of the dealer pics in my garage, and I think there should be one in my signature now.

That is a great anniversary gift bd, and congrats on the 30yr mark. Hope you have many more.

Hello and welcome to jaguarforums.com. I know that you are anxious to get started and we are anxious to meet you and talk about your car. We have a baseline / criteria that must be met before full access can be granted. Please enjoy the forum and be patient once the baseline has been satisfied full access will be granted. Please continue to post and accept my welcome to the forum.

If you haven’t already you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for. To do this go to, User CP, Edit Signature, Add Vehicle Details and such and Save Your Signature.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

Also, should you have questions related to your vehicle please post it in the section for your model year (MY) car. This way you will reach all the members that are familiar with your MY car.

Welcome to the forum, if you get bored spending 4 hours driving your XKR, just give me a shout.

If your drive lasts more than four hours, do you have to seek medical help immediately?

i'm not sure if there's a sport wagon in the us or not, if they're around you don't really see them...ever. i'd guess the market here is full up of that sort of thing and there's really no reason for it.

i wouldn't say i ever get bored on road trips, i'm just very prone to highway hypnosis which makes long distance solo trips a little rough at times.

i have found it almost impossible to stay out of the car since i've gotten it home. i find myself sitting around, wondering what it is i want to do which always eventually ends with me deciding that i want to go driving; because that's what people who own cars like this do. they go driving with nowhere to go. and my word is it fun.
