Car Junkie in the Junk Yard
I have recently moved to Columbia SC, From Charleston SC. Semi-Retired.
Found a friend who needs help with the greatest most "funnest" Job.
Working in a Classic Car Junkyard.
Friend is 76 with health problems. He has slowed down and is needing to
liquidate 1000 part cars, and 11 building full of parts that he has collecting over 40 years in the service, restoration, and parts yard business.
I have enjoyed owning numerous great cars in the past
1968 Plymouth Fury III
1972 MB 280 SE Sedan over/under head lights
1997 Rolls Royce Silver Spur III LWB
1998 Rolls Royce Silver Spur III LWB
1999 Chrysler T/C Maserati
So now I get to Play with XK120, XKE 2+2, MK II, III, etc....
MG TD, MGB GT,etc...
Triumph,

I am a Newbie! Thanks for everyone's patience.
I probably did my newbie post wrong. But please see my post
Car Junkie in the Junk Yard.
I will start my Garage with the Girls who are becoming my
Junkyard Family! I hope that you will see that they are not all Trashy!
I started with a picture of a MK IX that I will call Sister Genevieve! After
Harry Smedley's book of the restoration of his MK IX.
Thanks to all. We will have a lot of good parts coming out of this
40 year old Classic car junk yard. Hopefully the new availability of original
parts will help in making more restorations possible.
