Welcome to the forums Rosebud1084,

Sorry to hear about this. Sadly, the correct option is to replace them but some members may be able to advise on the alternative of cat delete.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ed-v8-x200-15/ to the S-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Southern Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...rn-midwest-67/ to find other members in your region.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums.

What a bummer! I thought I had a spare set of cats but they werent oem. I did find out used original oem cats bring over $500 at the recycler so thats quite an incentive for thieves

From one S-type owner to another... Welcome. The S-type forum is populated with a very friendly group and contains a wealth of knowledge.

Hopefully you have full coverage on your insurance and will only get stung for the deductible.

Hello, Rosebud.
I'm sorry someone stole your cats. That's a common occurrence around here. In fact, that's my favorite muffler guy's main source of income, Replacing stolen cats.

Depending where you are, which is the reason we like to know your general location, you may be forced to shell out the cash for new ones.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
