Good day mates!
Just joined the forum and wanted to tell you a little about myself and my ride.
I have been a long time buyer of American cars namely GM. I finally broke tradition and purchased my first Jaguar. Its a 2004 XJ8 base model. Its Radiance Red with a slurry of options. Rear Back up sensors front and rear heated seats, and upgraded 18" rims. It had two previous owners and I purchased it with 103,000 mls.. More to follow later...

Welcome to the forum XJATE,
Good to have you with us.
If you need tech info you'll want the X350 section XJ ( X350 & X358 ) XJ6 / XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
Post up a pic or two when you get the chance.
If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Welcome to the forum XJATE,
You have to break loose some time! XJ8 is a good choice for a first Jaguar.
Follow Norri's link for help and advice. Best place to start is the FAQ's to find common issues and recommended maintenance on the X308.
Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
