G/Day All, Just rejoined as I changed my email address and lost the lot.
I have a 2000 S-Type 4litre V8, that shut down yesterday and won't turn over ,battery good [ as new] turn key on she lights up then when you turn key to start position lights go out and all dead any idea what to look for to fix it. chuck cresswell.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

G/Day All, S Type 4l V8 2000, on the road again[ good on you *****] Put key in and hit steering column with a copper dolly and hammer she unlocked, then I pulled the fuse for the steering lock so it won't happen again, fingers crossed.
