Hey there! I think I have done my due diligence so now I am reaching out for help here. My car turned off while driving a couple months back, I'm sure many have experienced this-no fun b/c you lose power steering and brakes! Low and behold it was the fuel pump (first error code I got). Replaced that after my car turned off a few more times but also threw the new code of P2402. Replaced the gas cap-waist of money-not the problem. Came across a bunch of readings that talk about the "charcoal filter." Came across this part number from a previous article WTR500030. States its from Land Rover but fixed the problem, however, not sure if that part will work for my make an model. Either way it's a fuel vapor detection pump, which I believe is different than the charcoal canister? So, my question is, anyone have experience w/either the vapor pump OR the charcoal canister on this model? Which is recommended to replace? What specific part number when I do replace? I also read mixed reviews, some say it's in the front under the right front tire, others say in the back in front of tank (so kinda in front of right rear tire), others mention taking differential apart, others say no, shouldn't have to, pretty simple fix, had mine done at a local mechanic, only took an hour? I have a friend willing to do this if we do NOT have to take down the rear differential. Can't keep check engine light to stay off longer than 65 miles. HELP! Thanks
