Hi,

I've had both wing mirrors kicked off my X-TYPE 3.0LTR V6 SF51 EFA and am trying to find out the 'official' colour of the car in order to orde new ones....can anyone help - it look like a mid-blue to me but I need the correct colour..??

Open the passenger door and look on the sticker. There will be a 3 letter code for the colour.

Then post back and we can tell you what the colour is.

As has already been suggested, post the 3-letter Paint Code from the manufacturer's label on the passenger door pillar next to the lock and we can give you the exact colour name. This example (paint code circled in red) is from my Frost Blue 2005 XK8 but the labels are similar on all models:
