Default considering an XF

Thanks for allowing me to join this group. I have been perusing the forum for the XFs for a week or so now and thought that even though i am not a Jaguar owner at this time, I should become more than just an anonymous lurker.
At present my daily driver is a BMW 525i-E39. i also own a '92 Saab 900 turbo convertible and my wife has a Toyota Avalon.
I recently had my BMW X3 written off by my insurance company as a total loss [water damage] and I am looking closely at a used Jaguar XF as my next purchase.
I have owned closed to 40 cars over the years and am looking forward to the next vehicle to join the pantheon.

Welcome to the forum Tennis dad,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Sorry to hear about the write off. I hope you get out of it with a fair settlement.

It sounds like you've already found your way to the XF/XFR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.

You can also visit the US Western Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/western-us-ak-ca-nv-ut-hi-wa-id-38/

Enjoy the forums.

40 cars seems quite a lot to me, but then, I'm only on my 4th one if you count the replacement Adequate Vehicle that husband just bought and put my name on.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I'm sure the plethora of information from members with ownership observations on these forums will be a great help in my quest to find an XF that is the right one for me.
