Thumbs up Cruise control not working 2005 XJ8 VDP

Hello. As a newbie, I searched the old postings but couldn't find one for my car covering this topic. I've just bought it and I plan on using it for long trips to Florida and New Orleans so the cruise is a must. I'd appreciate any advise on how to fix it.

Thanks all.

Stephen

Thumbs up

Update. I looked for and found an easy solution. I changed fuse F2 and the cruise control now works. Whew! That's one job off the list. The car goes in for fixing the scrapes on Monday ($1,250.00) and that leaves the headliner to be fixed. There is a local (SC) business that comes to you and replaces the headliner. I'm thinking of going that route.

Enjoy the moment - that will probably be the cheapest Jaguar fix you ever get!

I think that's a sensible choice for the headliner. Several members have tackled other models with varying degrees of success.
