Default Do I need to calibrate my suspension for different wheel size?

Hello

I’m new here, but look forward to getting more involved.

I bought a 2006 X350 XJ6 six months ago. As I understand it, that derivative was offered with a choice of 16-inch or 17-inch wheels. Larger wheels were only fitted to the supercharged R in the UK.

My car has 18-inch wheels, I think from the XF, and I’m not convinced it’s riding as it should be. I wondered if I need to get the suspension calibrated according to the wheel size fitted, or if that can’t be done, go back to a smaller wheel.

Welcome to the forums Simon,

I've checked the specification and through the production years the X350 was available on 17, 18, 19 or 20 inch wheels depending on specification and original purchaser choice. Suspension issues are a frequebnt topic on this model and members in X350 forum will be able to offer advice.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-x350-x358-28/ to the X350 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums.
