Hi, My name is Don from Ga. I recently purchased a 1997 XK8 conv. with only 40,000 miles on it. Inside and out this is an extremely clean car. I'm glad I came across this forum. Make it a great day the Jag. way !!

Default XK8/XKR Collectibles

I recently read an article titled ( 5 Best Looking Collectible Cars under $15,000) by Rob Sass with Hagerty. He listed the 1996-2003 XK8/XKR , That was when I really started looking into these cars and eventually came across a 1997 XK8 with 40K miles that I purchased. What are your thoughts on these cars appreciating significantly in value?

Don,

You'll find some discussion on this topic in XK8/XKR forum. The general opinion is that because of the numbers built (90,616), it will be a long time before scarcity makes values rise.

Maybe one day, but for now just drive and enjoy it!
