Default From E-Types and short wheel base XJs to an empty spot

I am new to this site and Jaguarless at the moment. Seeking an S-type R model or wagon and having lots to learn about the new Jaguars having absented myself from them for decades while playing with TVRs, Audis and Volvos.

Thank you for the welcome. If I ever find the new car and it treats me as well it will make for a long term relationship.

Well, I finally made it.

It took eight months and it was excruciatingly difficult to give up the dream owning a VDP S-Type R but this 2006 S-Type 4.2 is a compelling compromise. It has barely been allowed to peek out of the garage amassing less than 11,000 actual miles since new.

Thank you. I have. It takes me back to my old SWB XJ which I notice you have one of. Just the right size and balance of things Jaguar represents.

It is good to be back "home".
