engine pinging low rpm using premium gas

Has any Jaguar X type owner experienced enging pinging at low engine rpm especially on upgrades.I have a 2006 X type and I use Shell V-Power premium gasoline.

You have a 2006 and it's pinging? You need to make sure you are using 93 or better fuel...and have the ping sensor checked out.
