Owner of a new 2014 XF 3.0 AWD. Car has 1000 miles on it from new. At the 600 mi. mark the Engine/Transmission Check light came on. Car continued to run as normal. The dealer claims the code check indicated faulty oxygen sensor which they said they replaced. 400mi later the same fault light has returned. Car continues to run without change in performance. I can't believe there's another Oxygen sensor problem. Anyone seen a similar recurring problem?????

 

Oh Dear! A brand new car certainly shouldn't be giving trouble so soon. I can't help you with that as I don't know that model, but I can welcome you to the forum.

Two H2O sensors failing in such a short time is unusual. The only way to be certain exactly what is triggering the CEL is to have the codes read.
