Hello All: I´m new to this forum and new to Jaguar. At one point in my life I had an Alfa Spider and I missed the open top rides on country roads and such. Now unfortunately they are way out of my league but I found a 2002 Jag XKR and I really love the lines and specs on the car so I bought one on line.. heheeh. I live in Guatemala so I had to import the vehicle without ever looking or testing it out. Now it is here and it seems ok.. looks like it took a little bump over the left front fender but was fixed ok.. paint job seems good. Everything runs except the a/c and when it revs uo to 3000 rpm it starts bucking.. Soo the next step is to take to a shop specialized in Euro cars here in Guatemala and have them look at it. It has 80K miles on the odo.. Originally my intenetions were to go to the USA and have it checked out there, serviced and drive around the north east where I grew up, unfortunately the pandemic and difficulties getting a visa made me change my plans. It probably is the only vehicle of its kind here in Guatemala. thanks for having me here in the forum. as soon as I figure out how to post photos I will do so.. all the best,
Eugenio

Happy to be here.
Thanks again for having me in the forum. And thanks for moving the post to the right place. I have read the instructions and will do my best to comply.. I live in the countryside in Guatemala and our internet here is iffy, so I don´t spend much time here, but I´m excited to be in this forum, seems like there are a lot of knowledgeable peple on the Jag subject and I´m so ignorant and carzy to have brought this car here but I really enjoy it so far.. See ya all soon.
