Default Extended Warranty

I am purchasing a low mileage 2016 F-Type S Convertible, comes with 2 more years of Factory warranty and 1 year of Certified Warranty, should I add another year of Certified warranty, and what should I expect to pay?

Welcome to the forums Zprinter,

You will find several threads discussing extended warranties. There's no absolute rule - it's a balance between how long you intend to keep the vehicle, cost for the additional year and who will be maintaining/repairing the vehicle.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-x350-x358-28/ to the F-Type forum for help, advice and information.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Southern Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...rn-midwest-67/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

are you planning on keeping the car longer than 3 years? I would say hold off on purchasing additional warranty, see how reliable the car is and you can make a decision later. there are plenty of 3rd party options that you can purchase down the road.

Thanks for the comment, planning on keeping as long as possible, but I'll wait on adding the additional year.
