Default To-be F-Type Owner in the Bay Area

So...ever since these came out I've wanted one. Think of me as your skinnywallet friend, I couldn't afford one - not even on the used market. Until now! I own a 2014 F-Type V8S. Lunar grey on white with a grey top. The ONNNLY problem is, it's still in Chicago waiting for a truck to pick it up and bring it to me. I can't WAIT.

I sold my Cayman S for this car. It was an incredibly precise and clinically accurate car on the twisties and on the track. But it's no F-Type. I'm so in love with the design of this car you don't even know. I'm worried about squirreling out around the bends, though and look forward to familiarizing myself with the driving dynamics. I'm scheduling some time on the Thunderhill skidpad as soon as it comes in.

I'm a huge DIY guy. I plan to swap out the hood vents (don't like the contrasting gloss black on the Lunar Grey). I'm going to chip it (if I can handle the back end under power!), lower it, put spacers on it, paint correct and ceramic coat it, and drive the hell out of it!!!

Look forward to spending some time with you guys on here.

Cheers!

Welcome to the forums STMPY,

Good to have you with us.

I can see you've already found your way to the F-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Western Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/western-us-ak-ca-nv-ut-hi-wa-id-38/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.
