Default Finally bought a jag

I've wanted one since high school and finally took the plunge a couple weeks ago. I've got a 99 XK8 convertible with 90K miles. I'm an engineer by profession and tinkerer by night and have been working on cars for many years. The forums are very helpful and I hope to contribute someday.

Default Who owns these old jags?

I've been reading the forums for several weeks and I've got the sense that the owners and members are not the folks that plopped down $90K to buy one new and get all the servicing done at the dealer. That profile fits me very well as even if I could afford a $2500 ABS unit I'd rather rebuild it with instructions here and spend < 10% of the new price and put the remaining cash toward a paint job, college for the kid, etc.
